⚙️ What exactly are alloys? 🔩✨

Following our last project with copper pipes, today we would like to broaden our horizons a little:
Alloys are materials consisting of two or more metals (or metal + non-metal).

👉 The aim is to combine the positive properties of the raw materials – such as higher strength, better corrosion resistance, or easier workability.

The best-known alloys include:

Steel (iron + carbon)
Brass (copper + zinc)
Bronze (copper + tin)
• and many other special alloys developed for extreme requirements.

🔧 Where are alloys used?

Practically everywhere: in construction, energy technology, mechanical engineering, medicine, aerospace, and, of course, pipeline construction.

Alloys are therefore true all-rounders in the world of materials—and it is hard to imagine everyday life without them.
