Our products are used in many different industrial sectors. Over the years, ms con-cept has specialised in various industries with high material requirements, such as high corrosion resistance, e.g. duplex and super duplex, or nickel and titanium alloys.
Heat-resistant and easy-to-machine materials as well as customised dimensions complete our product range.
Precision steel tubes
Precision steel tubes are used in a wide range of applications, for example in the furniture industry, particularly in the manufacture of office furniture. They are used as round or flat oval tubes for cantilever chairs and as profiles for height-adjustable desks.
Precision profiles are the preferred choice for shelving and shop fitting due to their excellent punchability and very tight edge radii.
Our precision tubes are also frequently used in mechanical engineering and vehicle construction, for example as shafts, axles, cylinders, injection lines, hydraulic tubes or cylinder components.
Both welded and seamless steel tubes can be further processed into precision steel tubes using additional rolling and drawing processes. These are characterised by minimal dimensional tolerances and are manufactured with a square or rectangular cross-section with narrow edge radii.
The smooth surfaces of the tubes are ideal for a wide range of applications - both technically demanding, such as chrome plating or galvanising, as well as decorative applications.
We bundle our customers' requirements for precision tubes in a wide range of dimensions, material grades and lengths into a comprehensive material package. Framework agreements with terms of up to six months enable efficient planning. We optimise purchasing by selecting suitable manufacturing plants, organise customised logistics solutions and offer individually tailored financial options.

Maritime industry
Maritime industry
The location of our company headquarters in Lübeck enables us to maintain a certain natural proximity to the maritime industry on the North and Baltic Seas. Liquids and gases are transported in pipes on all ships, platforms and most harbour facilities. In recent years, ms con-cept has specialised in supplying pipes and pipe accessories to customers who manufacture pipelines for the transport and storage of liquefied natural gas. Initially, only ships were converted to run on LNG, but the trend towards the clean fuel LNG is also increasingly affecting various new construction projects. Due to the heat extraction during the transition to the gaseous state, high demands are placed on the material that comes into contact with the medium.
ms con-cept has the materials tested and subsequently approved by classification societies such as BV, LRS or DNV-GL.
Stainless steel materials 304(L) and 316(L) are predominantly used.

Power plant construction, chemicals and petrochemicals
Power plant construction
In power plants in which fossil and renewable fuels are converted to generate heat and electricity, high-performance heat-resistant steels are predominantly used.
Pipes and pipe accessories made of heat-resistant steels are often required to undergo additional approval by an authorised certification institute.
Cooperation with highly specialised manufacturers is required for these special material requirements and the associated documentation.
Chemicals and petrochemicals
In the manufacture of chemical and petrochemical products, liquids are produced and processed that harbour a high corrosion potential for the pipe systems transporting them. For this reason, austenitic or ferritic-austenitic steels are usually used here so that even highly concentrated acids can be processed safely and permanently.
