Last week ms con-cept invited customers for a manufacturer´s visit at one of our Italian producer´s plant. Process steps in pipe production as well as coating line had been presented in detail. Responsible product engineers in particular focused on traceability of each heat, welding parameters, testing equipment and inspection of products in mill´s laboratory.

ms con-cept conducted material tests on stainless steel elbows and fittings for supplying a LNG powered ferry. Destructive tests such as tensile test, flattening test on tubes and impact test have been performed. For any application in low temperature environments to execute this test at -196°C

Longitudinal welded steel pipe in DN800 with outlets of different sizes supplied by ms con-cept. The goods are destined for the district heating industry in the Northern European market. Materials will be outside coated with a combined PU inside foam/ PE casing.
