As has already been reported repeatedly, we inspect our customers’ construction sites ourselves, if possible, so that we can take the necessary measures directly if needed.
In one of our most recent projects for welded gas pipes, we organized a meeting (corona-compliant only outside) between the project management, logisticians and us before the goods were delivered. A drive-in external warehouse was set up here, from which the pipes were brought to their destination along the route.
The prerequisite was the tightly timed arrival of the trucks to avoid traffic jams in front of the storage location and to ensure optimized unloading.
Approx. 500 tons of steel pipes with the dimensions 914 x 12.5 x 16000 mm in L485ME and PE coating were delivered on request within 10 days by a total of 30 trucks to the destination, which ensured that the pipeline was constructed on time.
